Global shipments of wrist-worn smart devices surpassed 150 million units in the first three quarters of the year, growing 10% year-on-year, according to IDC. Smartwatches led with nearly 120 million units, while fitness trackers saw faster growth at 21.3%. Huawei ranked first globally, followed by fast-growing Xiaomi, with Apple and Samsung trailing, as advanced connectivity, AI features and health tracking are expected to drive further growth next year.
