OpenAI has launched a revamped ChatGPT Images alongside GPT-5.2, delivering 4× faster image generation and more precise edits. Designed to rival Google’s Nano Banana Pro, the new model follows user intent more accurately – changing only what’s requested while preserving all other details.
It adds preset styles and ideas, improves text rendering and small-face detail, and handles complex edits and compositions more reliably. ChatGPT Images is rolling out now to all users worldwide.
