Google has started rolling out Wear OS 6.1 with the December update for Pixel Watch 4, 3, and 2. Pixel Watch 4 gains new gesture controls, including a double-pinch gesture for scrolling, replying and snoozing alarms, plus a wrist-turn gesture to silence calls and dismiss notifications. These gestures are enabled by default and come with an on-wrist tutorial.
Pixel Watch 3 and 4 also receive faster, more power-efficient Smart Replies powered by a new on-device AI model. Pixel Watch 2 gets the update as well, but only with security patches — no new gestures or Smart Reply improvements.
The update is rolling out now via the Pixel Watch app.
