Waze is testing traffic light indicators on its maps after years of user requests, starting with a limited pilot in Israel. During navigation, only up to three traffic lights are shown at once to avoid map clutter, while non-navigation mode displays all nearby lights. The feature is still in an early testing phase, with no timeline for a wider rollout, though Waze has confirmed traffic light support is planned and could eventually use Google Maps’ existing data.
