Apple may partner with Intel for chip manufacturing

A new report suggests Apple may start using Intel as a secondary chip manufacturer to reduce reliance on TSMC. Intel is expected to produce some Apple chips using its 14A process from 2028, including parts of the A21 and A22 iPhone chips, while TSMC remains the main supplier. Intel could also manufacture lower-end M-series chips for select Mac and iPad models starting around 2027.
