Galaxy S26 series could support satellite communication

The upcoming Galaxy S26 series is expected to support satellite communication, according to new FCC listings for the Galaxy S26, S26+ and S26 Ultra. All three models reportedly include Supplemental Coverage from Space (SCS) and Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN) technologies, enabling text messaging in areas without cellular coverage, though availability may vary by region.

The filings also confirm support for Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth LE, NFC and Ultra Wideband (UWB). Samsung is rumored to be partnering with Skylo to power satellite messaging and calling features.
