Apple has officially confirmed a multi-year partnership with Google to integrate Gemini AI into Siri and Apple Intelligence. Google’s models will power a more personalized Siri and other AI features across iPhone, iPad and Mac, starting later this year.
The deal confirms earlier reports that Google would support Apple’s delayed Siri overhaul, now expected in spring 2026 with iOS 26.4. Gemini will also underpin Apple Intelligence features like Live Translation and image generation, though it’s unclear how this affects Apple’s existing use of ChatGPT.
