OpenAI has launched Prism, a free AI-native workspace designed to help scientists write and collaborate on research using the GPT-5.2 model. Available now to ChatGPT personal users and coming soon to Business, Enterprise and Education plans, Prism supports unlimited projects and collaborators.
Prism brings drafting, revision, LaTeX editing, citations, equations and collaboration into a single cloud-based workspace. With GPT-5.2 working directly inside documents, researchers can write and revise papers, manage references and equations, search literature, collaborate in real time and even convert sketches or voice edits into LaTeX – all without switching between multiple tools.
