At CES 2026, Samsung revealed plans to turn its wearables into preventive health tools. The company is developing features for Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Ring that use AI and device data to spot early signs of mental decline, such as dementia, by monitoring changes in speech, movement and device interactions. These tools won’t diagnose conditions but aim to provide early warnings, alongside more personalized fitness and sleep coaching. The features will launch in beta in select markets, with timing still unconfirmed.
