After reports that weak iPhone Air sales led several Chinese brands to cancel thin-and-light phone projects, a prototype of the canceled Xiaomi 17 Air has surfaced. A video shows an ultra-thin 5.5mm design with a dual-camera visor, matte glass back and metallic camera island. Rumored specs included a 6.59-inch display, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, sub-6,000mAh battery and a 200MP main camera. Despite these ambitions, the Xiaomi 17 Air is expected to remain just a prototype.
