Apple is reportedly speeding up development of three new AI-powered wearables built around Siri: smart glasses, an AI pendant and camera-equipped AirPods.
The smart glasses will feature cameras, microphones and speakers (but no display), acting as an all-day AI companion that understands what users see and do in real time. Apple is designing the frames in-house with premium materials and integrated components.
The AI pendant is described as a small, camera-equipped wearable that works alongside an iPhone, serving as the device’s “eyes and ears” for always-on context and voice input. It could be worn as a clip or necklace and may arrive as early as next year, though it’s still in early development.
Apple is also continuing work on AirPods with built-in cameras, which could launch as soon as this year.
