Apple is expected to enter the foldable phone market this year with the iPhone Fold, reportedly featuring an almost crease-free display supplied by Samsung. Leaks suggest the screen crease will be under 0.15 mm with a fold angle below 2.5°, making it nearly invisible in everyday use.
The device is rumored to launch in September alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, while the standard iPhone 18 models are expected later in 2027.
Design-wise, the iPhone Fold may feature a dual-camera module similar to the iPhone Air style and use Touch ID integrated into the power button instead of Face ID.
