The Galaxy Z TriFold sold out quickly at launch in the US, but Samsung is expected to restock it on February 20 at 10AM ET. However, a couple of early owners have reported serious issues with the foldable’s inner display. In one case, the screen turned green and then black after about a month of normal use, eventually becoming completely unresponsive. In another, the inner screen failed after just five days, turning white and showing signs of possible internal damage.
These appear to be isolated incidents among thousands of sold units, likely due to defective devices rather than a widespread problem.
