Google wants to integrate Nano Banana into Maps next

Google is preparing to integrate its AI image generator Nano Banana into Google Maps.

According to findings in the latest Maps app code, the feature will let users generate and edit images based on real-world locations from Street View, transforming them into stylized visuals using AI prompts.

While it’s unclear how widely the feature will be used, it could offer a fun new way to create creative images from real places. The integration appears to be in development and may roll out soon.
