Rivian is preparing to launch a dedicated Apple Watch app that brings remote vehicle controls to the wrist, expanding on its existing digital key support. The app will let users lock and unlock doors, start driving, vent windows, sound the alarm, adjust cabin temperature and set a charging target. It also enables Apple Watch digital key support for Gen 1 Rivian EVs, with the app arriving via the upcoming Rivian mobile app version 3.9.
