Amazon Fire TV’s redesigned Android app is rolling out

Amazon is rolling out a redesigned mobile experience for Amazon Fire TV through a free update, focusing on easier navigation and improved content discovery.

The updated app will allow users to browse shows, manage watchlists and control their TVs remotely, acting as a full-featured secondary remote for Fire TV devices linked to their Amazon account. The redesign also introduces improved typography, menus and smarter content recommendations, matching the updated Fire TV interface.

The update is already live on devices like the Fire TV Stick 4K Plus, Fire TV Stick 4K Max (2nd gen) and Fire TV Omni Mini-LED Series, with more devices set to receive it later this spring. The refreshed mobile app is launching in several countries, including the US, Brazil, Canada, India, Japan and the UK.
