Amazon is reportedly working on a new AI-focused phone, aiming to revive its hardware ambitions after the failed Fire Phone.
The device, codenamed “Transformer,” may act as an “anti-smartphone,” using AI to handle tasks like shopping, streaming and food ordering – potentially reducing screen time. It’s expected to feature a revamped Alexa experience and could be based on Android.
However, the project remains unconfirmed and could still be canceled if it doesn’t prove viable.
