Apple has launched the AirPods Max 2, updating its over-ear headphones with the newer H2 chip and a range of features already seen in the AirPods Pro 2, such as Adaptive Audio, Conversation Awareness and improved voice handling.
The new model also offers stronger noise cancellation (up to 1.5× better) and enhanced sound quality, while keeping features like lossless audio via USB-C and Spatial Audio with head tracking.
Priced at $549, it largely mirrors the previous design and serves as a feature catch-up, though competitors like the Sony WH-1000XM6 may still offer better value.
