Corning has unveiled Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3, its toughest protective glass yet. According to the company’s tests, it survived at least 20 repeated drops from one meter onto asphalt-like surfaces and withstood falls from over two meters onto concrete-like material, offering major durability improvements for smartphones.
The new glass won’t debut on a traditional slab phone, but on the cover display of the book-style Motorola Razr Fold, first revealed at CES 2026. Availability on other devices is expected in the coming months.
