Samsung’s upcoming foldables could bring some meaningful upgrades. Regulatory listings suggest the Galaxy Z Fold 8 will finally get 45W charging (up from 25W) along with a likely larger 5,000mAh battery.
A so-called Galaxy Wide Fold is also listed with the same 45W charging support.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Flip 8 is expected to stick with 25W charging, which is relatively slow by modern standards, though Samsung may improve real-world speeds through optimization.
Overall, Samsung seems to be preparing a wider range of foldables, but the Flip series may still lag behind in charging performance.
