Chinese smartphone brands are rapidly increasing battery capacities using Silicon Carbon technology, while companies like Apple, Google and Samsung still keep their devices around 5,000 mAh.
A new leak claims the upcoming Honor X80 GT could feature a massive 13,080 mAh battery. The standard Honor X80 is also rumored to get a 10,000 mAh battery, an upgrade from the Honor X70 with its 8,300 mAh cell.
Few other details are known so far, but the X80 GT is expected to improve on the X70’s specs, which included a 6.79-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, up to 12GB RAM and a 50MP main camera.
