TikTok users in the US are facing service issues following another outage tied to Oracle.
According to TikTok’s USDS joint venture, a problem at an Oracle data center is affecting parts of the US user experience, causing delays and lag when posting content. Oracle’s system status page confirms an ongoing outage at its US East (Ashburn) facility, with engineers working to stabilize network infrastructure.
This marks the second major disruption since TikTok’s US operations shifted to the Oracle-backed joint venture in January. Oracle says it is working quickly to restore normal service.
