vivo has previewed its next flagship camera phone, the X300 Ultra, at Mobile World Congress 2026 and confirmed it will launch globally, a first for its Ultra series.
The X300 Ultra builds on its predecessor’s modular camera approach with a new Zeiss Telephoto Extender Gen 2 Ultra, offering a 400mm (~16.6x) add-on lens and up to 1,600mm (~66x) crop zoom. Vivo will also release a dedicated camera cage accessory with dual grips, physical controls, cooling and support for the external lens system.
While a release date hasn’t been announced yet, the device signals a continued push toward pro-level mobile photography, as brands like OPPO also prepare competing Ultra camera phones.
