Apple has brought Shazam directly to ChatGPT, allowing users to identify songs without leaving the app.
After connecting Shazam through the ChatGPT apps page, users can simply ask “Shazam, what’s playing?” or use the command /Shazam. The app will then identify the track and show details such as the artist, song title, album artwork and how often it has been Shazamed.
Users can preview the song, save it to their Shazam library, or continue the conversation – such as asking ChatGPT to create a playlist in Apple Music. The feature is rolling out globally on ChatGPT for iOS, Android, and the web.
