You can soon use earbuds’ mic for Gboard voice typing

Gboard may soon add a long-requested feature: voice typing using a connected Bluetooth device’s microphone instead of the phone’s mic.

Spotted in a beta version of the app, the new setting would let users dictate text through earbuds or headphones, making voice input more convenient – especially in noisy environments where holding the phone close isn’t ideal.
