An upcoming version of Microsoft Phone Link allows users to select and copy text from images synced from their Android phone. Currently available in Release Preview Insider builds, this feature will soon be widely available. Phone Link, also known as Link to Windows on Android, syncs calls, messages, notifications, and images between your phone and Windows PC, with limited functionality for iOS devices. This update simplifies text extraction from images directly within the app. While the OCR accuracy is decent, it may still be more error-prone than Samsung or Apple’s text extractors.
