Apple iPhone 16 Pro demand seems lower than expected

According to Ming Chi-Kuo’s pre-order analysis, demand for the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max has fallen short of expectations, while the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus have seen higher sales compared to last year’s models. Specifically, iPhone 16 Pro Max pre-orders are down 16% and iPhone 16 Pro is down 27%, while iPhone 16 Plus is up 48% and iPhone 16 is up 10%. Overall, first-weekend sales for the iPhone 16 lineup are down 12.7% from the iPhone 15 series. Kuo suggests Apple may consider more aggressive strategies in 2025 if demand doesn’t improve.
