Google Maps getting sharper satellite imagery

Google Maps is getting sharper satellite imagery and more Street View content, while Google Earth will soon offer more historical imagery. Using its Cloud Score+ AI, Google removes clouds and haze for clearer views on Maps and Earth. Street View is expanding to nearly 80 countries, including Bosnia, Namibia, and Paraguay for the first time, with more imagery in places like Brazil and Japan. Google Earth will also offer historical imagery up to 80 years old, allowing users to compare past and present views, such as San Francisco’s transformation since 1938.
