Google’s Wear OS 5 has launched, debuting on the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra with Samsung’s One UI 6 Watch skin. Samsung has now started rolling out this update to older smartwatches, beginning with the Galaxy Watch 6 series and soon extending to the Galaxy Watch 5 and 4 models.
One UI 6 Watch on Wear OS 5 includes a redesigned Quick Panel, refreshed notifications, a new font, enhanced Samsung Health features with Energy Score and a touch-sensitive Always On Display. The update also introduces a double-pinch gesture for quick actions, faster horizontal scrolling and hands-free gestures for easier navigation. Battery-saving improvements help extend battery life by limiting health features when needed.
