Google Play Services v24.47 updates the Google Wallet app on Wear OS, adding support for hotel keys, campus IDs and corporate badges. This expands beyond the app’s earlier capabilities, which included bank cards, transit options, QR codes and barcodes.
While Google Wallet on smartphones already supports IDs, driver’s licenses and passports, these features aren’t yet available on Wear OS. If added, this could further reduce the need to carry a phone.
The update is rolling out gradually, so it may take a few days to reach your smartwatch.
