Google’s Android XR platform and Samsung’s upcoming ‘Project Moohan’ headset were recently showcased in a live demo shared online by former Google Product Manager Bilawal Sidhu. The video highlights Android XR features, including hand gestures for navigating spatial windows, scrolling webpages and interacting with apps in augmented reality. Users can activate features using the “Hey Gemini” hotword, indicating a Google Assistant-free experience. The demo also showcased immersive VR content, Maps and Google TV integration. While gaming wasn’t shown, the headset will support it and come with controllers.
