Google has begun rolling out Wear OS 5.1 to the Pixel Watch 2 and 3 (Wi-Fi), bringing several updates. Key features include Credential Manager support for easier sign-ins and watch speaker playback for media apps. A new Developer option allows skipping the blurred clock in AOD mode, and the Active watch face on the Pixel Watch 3 has been tweaked. The default yellow accent color is being replaced with gray, and Do Not Disturb, Bedtime and Theater modes are now grouped under a new Modes menu.
Other updates include Auto Bedtime Mode on Pixel Watch 2, Loss of Pulse Detection and menstrual tracking on Pixel Watch 3, an improved step tracking algorithm and enhanced media controls. The next major update is expected in June.
