Android 16 is getting a major hearing accessibility feature

Android phones will soon support Auracast with Bluetooth LE hearing aids, allowing users to tune into public audio broadcasts, such as airport announcements or concert feeds. At launch, Samsung Galaxy phones with One UI 7 and Pixel 9 phones with the Android 16 beta will support the feature. Users can connect via settings or by scanning a QR code on Pixel 9. This comes as Android 16 reaches platform stability, moving closer to its full release.
