With iOS 18.4, Apple Intelligence now supports more languages but remains unavailable in China. Users who purchased an iPhone, iPad or Mac in China cannot access AI features, even if they leave the country or change settings. Devices made for China can be identified by a model number ending in “CH/A.” Apple is working with Alibaba to bring AI to China, but there’s no timeline for availability yet.
