Apple is reportedly testing under-display Face ID for the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, aiming to eliminate the notch in favor of a single hole-punch selfie camera. If successful, the feature would debut in 2026, offering a more seamless design while maintaining secure 3D face recognition. Standard iPhone 18 models will still use the traditional notch, and Apple is also testing this technology for its upcoming foldable iPhone.
