Google Maps for iOS now uses Gemini AI to scan your iPhone screenshots for location info and save them automatically to a new private “Screenshots” list. This feature streamlines saving places you find online, letting you review and organize them without manual searching. It requires photo access and is currently available in US English, with Android support coming later.
