Microsoft is testing a new “Hey Copilot!” voice activation feature for Windows 11 users, allowing them to launch Copilot Voice hands-free. The feature is currently available to Windows Insiders with app version 1.25051.10.0 or higher and must be enabled manually. It uses an on-device wake word detector with no cloud recording, though an internet connection is required for full functionality. This update brings Copilot closer to voice assistants like Siri and Alexa.
