Spotify is launching a redesigned Android Auto app with support for its “Jam” feature, allowing passengers to join and add songs to a shared playlist by scanning a QR code – no device pairing needed. The update, announced at Google I/O, takes advantage of Android Auto’s new flexibility for media apps. It’s expected to roll out in the coming months, alongside updates for Amazon Music and YouTube Music.
