Google is working on a new “notification organizer” feature for Android 16 that uses AI to group notifications into categories like Promotions, News, Social and Suggested. Similar to Gmail’s sorting system, it aims to reduce notification clutter by bundling less urgent alerts. The feature may debut with the Pixel 10 and could be exclusive to Pixel devices at launch. Users will also be able to exclude certain apps from being organized.
