Apple is reportedly preparing to launch a new Vision Pro headset later this year, featuring a faster M4 chip and a redesigned strap for improved comfort. The upgrade will focus on AI performance, with a neural engine potentially exceeding the current 16-core setup. The current $3,499 model uses an M2 chip and launched in early 2024. Apple is also working on a lighter, cheaper Vision Pro for 2027 and AR glasses to rival Meta’s offerings.
