Android finally lets you control your Pixel phone’s flashlight brightness

Google’s latest August 2025 Android Canary release adds a long-requested feature for Pixel phones: adjustable flashlight brightness. The Quick Settings flashlight tile is now expandable, offering a slider to set intensity and buttons to confirm or turn it off.

Pixels default to 50% brightness, but users can now easily dim or boost the light without third-party apps. The feature is expected to reach the stable channel with Android 16 QPR2 in December.
