Google is rolling out major upgrades to Gemini Live next week. The AI will now provide visual guidance, highlighting objects on your screen when you share your camera — debuting on the Pixel 10 (Aug 28) and expanding to other Android and iOS devices soon.
Gemini Live will also integrate with Messages, Phone, and Clock, letting you act on tasks mid-conversation, like drafting a text while discussing directions.
Additionally, a new audio model improves speech with natural intonation, rhythm, and pitch. Users can adjust Gemini’s speaking speed, and the AI can even shift tone or adopt accents for more engaging storytelling.
