Ultrahuman and RingConn are now banned from selling smart rings in the US

Oura has won a major legal victory in the US, with the International Trade Commission banning rivals Ultrahuman and RingConn from selling smart rings after finding they infringed Oura’s patents. The ruling leaves Oura, which has shipped over 2.5 million devices, with an even stronger hold on the market. While Samsung’s new Galaxy Ring offers some competition, US buyers now face fewer options, less price competition and slower innovation — a clear win for Oura but a loss for consumer choice.
