Google has updated the Gemini app to handle any file type

Google has rolled out audio file uploads for Gemini on Android, iOS and the web. Users can now upload MP3, WAV and other formats – up to 10 files per prompt. Free users are limited to 10 minutes of audio, while Pro and Ultra subscribers get up to 3 hours. This update fulfills Gemini’s most requested feature and doubles the time limit compared to free video uploads.
