Samsung is expanding into telehealth by partnering with HealthTap, allowing Galaxy smartphone, tablet, Watch and Ring users in the US to book and conduct virtual doctor consultations directly in the Samsung Health app.
Users can chat with doctors, get digital notes and prescriptions and even order medicines via Walgreens integration. The service supports urgent 24/7 consultations and lets users store health records and track medications.
Available across all 50 US states, the feature marks Samsung’s next step toward personalized digital care, building on its existing health metrics like ECG, AGEs, and hypertension alerts. While AI isn’t directly mentioned, deeper AI integration is expected in future updates.
