The next iPhone Air has reportedly been delayed

Apple has reportedly cancelled plans for a second-generation iPhone Air, according to The Information, and has scaled back production of the current model launched in September.

The follow-up was expected to be lighter, offer better battery life, and include a vapor chamber cooling system like the iPhone 17 Pro.

With this change, Apple’s fall 2026 lineup will now focus on the iPhone 18 Pro and a foldable iPhone, while the iPhone 18 and 18E are planned for spring 2027. A revised iPhone Air could still debut around that time instead.
