Indiegogo will launch a new “Express Crowdfunding” format that allows creators to start shipping products while their campaigns are still running, removing the long wait for the pledge manager phase. The change follows Indiegogo’s migration to Gamefound’s technology, which currently forces a delay of at least two weeks before creators can collect shipping addresses.
A recent example of this issue was Ayaneo’s Pocket AIR Mini, which had to push its shipping date due to platform rules. Indiegogo says the new faster system should roll out in early February.
