Samsung’s upcoming One UI 8.5 update looks to be a major release, with the beta rumored to start around December 8. A leaked changelog reveals upgrades across Galaxy AI, Bixby, connectivity, battery, accessibility, security, and more.
Highlights include continuous AI image generation, a smarter and more natural Bixby, Storage Share for accessing files across Samsung devices, quicker Smart View connections, improved Auracast, redesigned battery settings, and stronger power-saving modes.
Other additions include enhanced accessibility tools, more customizable Quick Panel, partial screen recording, DeX window memory, new Clock features like weather alarms and a time zone converter, upgraded Samsung Health insights, improved theft protection, more secure Quick Share, auto-adjusting Lock screen layouts, new clock fonts, and a more informative Weather widget with a pollen index.
