Samsung breaks record for most foldable smartphone shipments in Q3

Global foldable smartphone shipments grew 14% in Q3 2025, hitting a record high. Samsung dominated the market with 64% share, driven by strong sales of the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7, marking a 32% year-over-year increase.

Huawei followed with 15%, then Motorola (7%), Honor (6%), vivo (4%), and Xiaomi (2%). Foldables now make up 2.5% of all smartphone shipments, with rising demand for book-style designs. The market is expected to expand further in 2026, especially if Apple launches its long-rumored iPhone Fold.
