Apple is expanding several health and hearing features to new regions. Hypertension notifications for Apple Watch are now rolling out in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Vietnam, using 30 days of heart data to detect possible high blood pressure. Apple expects the feature to help over 1 million users in its first year.
Sleep apnea alerts are also expanding, now reaching Colombia, where Apple Watch can identify signs of moderate to severe sleep apnea during sleep.
In addition, Apple is bringing AirPods Hearing Test and Hearing Aid with Conversation Boost to more European countries, including the UK, Germany, Austria, Poland, Switzerland, Finland, Norway, Ireland, and Denmark, helping users detect hearing issues and fine-tune audio for accessibility.
